TRAINING
NEEDS ASSESSMENT
Devised an edutainment-based TNA Program for the SUNGI Development
Foundation, Abbottabad. A team of facilitators from Sungi were trained on
February 03, 2007 to effectively carryout the TNA exercise at the Sungi
retreat, dated March 08, 2007. The Human and Institutional Development
Section of Sungi supported and facilitated the execution of the TNA
process. The objectives of the TNA were to:

Prepare
a comprehensive profile of each of the 300 Sungi employees (present at the
retreat) detailing information about their personal insight,
self-confidence, motivational levels, creative thinking skills, attitude
towards work, problem-solving skills and adaptability to change. |

2. |
Provide
a mechanism for employees to assess their skills in different areas. |

3. |
Develop
a meaningful training effort from the input of employees. |
|
4. |
Provide
additional learning opportunities to employees. |
|
5. |
Strengthen
the overall organizational structure. |
An activity-based, participatory Personal Enrichment Session, “Everyone is a Leader”, was also
conducted for the 300 employees at the Sungi retreat.
